Project Manager

Description

Provide project coordination, supplier engagement/management and administrative support to the R&D department.

Responsibility

• Work with supplier managers to support supplier management.
• Work with suppliers to ensure timely establishment of contracts and purchase orders.
• Work with project leaders to ensure contracts and purchase orders remain in good condition.
• Manage deliverables from suppliers, including tracking and providing status updates on these deliverables, and coordinating internal reviews/responses as needed.
• Implement and maintain tracking systems to support business objectives.
• Schedule and organize individual and group meetings as needed.
• Support development of travel arrangements and expense reporting.
• Schedule a calendar when requested by senior leaders within the development department.
• Folder/Sharepoint structure management.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in biology, chemistry, pharmacy or other related fields.
• Experience in a CRO as a trial administrator and/or a pharmaceutical/biotech company will be a plus.
• Knowledge of supplier contracts and purchase order management.
• Work with suppliers to manage delivery of contractual obligations.
• Work with internal teams to coordinate review and oversight of deliverables.
• Ability to work effectively with external opinion leaders across different levels of the organization.
• Creative problem solvers who are able to proactively solve problems quickly and independently.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• High attention to detail and dedication to accurate and high quality work.
• Results oriented, highly collaborative across functions, positive attitude and proactive.
