Senior Scientist / Chief Scientist

Description

This candidate needs to play a leading role in exploring lysosomes in various disease areas and support the development of lysosomal cell biology and biochemistry. Successful candidates will be expected to independently design, execute and manage in-house research projects.

Responsibility

• Biochemical assay and lysosome-based assay development and validation.
• Target identification and verification.
• In vitro  pharmacology and in vitro  model development and validation.
• Research on lysosomes in new drug development.
• Work closely with a fully integrated team to make key decisions on project progress.
• Data collection, analysis, storage and reporting can be done independently.
• Maintain a broad understanding of fields of science and technology, such as biology and genetic engineering.

Requirements

• PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology, Genetics or related disciplines.
• Proficient in the latest cellular and molecular biology techniques.
• Important lessons for exploring the biogenesis of complex organelles.
• Excellent publication record in top journals attests to scientific productivity.
